  • Last night I had dinner with someone and that person's friends.  After dinner we went to a coffee shop to hang out and talk.  After a while, we ran onto another person that we knew, and that person joined us.  Eventually, my dinner companion's friends left.  So the three of us talked for a bit.  More people we knew began showing up, so we all ended up hanging out together as a group.  Now, today I had several people ask me if there was anything going on between myself and my dining companion.  I just had to laugh.  It was the most preposterous notion.  I have problems when people make assumptions about situations just on what they see.  Why do people assume certain things when they see certain situations?

It is those kinds of assumptions that lead to rumors, and those rumors are what get people hurt.

  • is this any different then gossiping about someone?.....i agree wish people were blind.

  • ooh ooh who was it?? who was it??

Keke.  People need something to keep them amused.  Gossip seems to be it most of the time.  Especially among girls... bwahahaha.

Honestly, I don't care who it was with you that the rumors were about.

As long as that person was a girl... ;p

  • dude, change back ur weblog layout... i can't see what i'm writing!!!! >____<

  • oy... assumptions~

not saying it's the case all the time but people want to know and often be in the know, even if it means they have to assume to get there.

    oy...

  • Very true.  So annoying.

  • be prepared for the workout of your life, man...

  • Yeah man, I wish I'd brought my camera so I coulda gotten a pic of that other couple. hehe

Hey thanks man, and good luck in finding a girl that'll measure up to the man in you.  You'll be a unique and worthwhile challenge for someone.  Can't wait to see what puzzle you get, kekeke. :) just kidding!

  • I here you.  So right  But then again, when any of us see a guy and a girl together, alone, and out having dinner,...well. what is the first thing that any of us would wonder?  But even so, people don't have to start wondering out loud to everyone else they know because, as you say, that is how rumors get started and then rumors become gossip and usually gossip is either not true or a gross exageration of the truth., or a half truth w/o all the facts.
