Yes, very sad, but on the other hand this precious little child is no longer suffering and is the presence of her Creator.  I will be praying for her parents and the other two siblings as well, who will grow up wondering what their sister would have been like, but hopefully realizing they can see her one day if they come to Jesus and follow Him. As well I will pray God will bless us with the knowledge of a cure for this disease.  God's miraculous works in many ways we don't often consider.
